Hair Algae

Hi ,
In my 10 gallon fishless tank only for growing plants is plagued by huge Hair Alage due to non-maintenance for last 3 months ..

Now looking for suggestions to KILL the hair algae without impacting plants ..

Tried H2O2 complete bottle but it is not yet killed .. as its is fishless can dose anything only things to ensure is plants are safe

Looking for suggestions ...

1. Use toothbrush to pluck hair algea on daily basis.
2. dose 1ml of 25% Glut solution in alternate days.
3. Change 50% water in alternate days.
4. All of the algae will vanish within 15 days.

3-4 days complete blackout with glut.

My 60 gallon tank is suffering from green hair algae problem on mosses.
Rajibji can you please brief in detail point no. 2 (dose 1ml of 25% glut solution in alternate days).

I want to say that release 1 ml gluterladehyde in a gap of one day in the tank.

Glossositigma diandrum will be melt out. Other sp. of Glosso are ok with Glut.

wont glut kill the moss also?

Rajiv ji I was reading somewhere that even Vals can be acclamatised to glut if the dose is increased starting from a very small dosage.
