Good Afternoon every one

I have started cycling the tank and have put in 2 huge pieces of driftwood.
They are all covered in Slime.
According to suggestions from fellow hobbyist i took out the pieces scrub it with plastic scrub and tried to scrape the fungus.
60-70% of the slime was removed but it was still there as was not able to get off the wood.
I also pored boiling water onto the wood.

There are still spots on the wood which has fungus and cant be reached with toothbrush.

will it go with time and waterchange ?
Are there any plecos who will munch on them ?
i will not be again removing out from tank and washing it like i did i would let the process happen naturalls is that ok ?

Thank You

Don't worry it should go away after a couple of month.

Another thing you can apply is Hydrogen paraoxide. Remove water upto the point. Just take Hydrogen paraoxide in syringe and release on spot. It will burn in 5 minutes. After that fill water again.
