Lemon tree branches in aquascaping.

Unread post by SCORPIO »

Many times I have used Lemon tree branches in my aquascapes without any problem. They are beautiful and also provides shapes to scapes.
Before using in aquarium, following cure the woods by following steps:

1. Collect the woods.
2. Put in sunlight for 5-6 days until they dry.
3. Soak the woods in water. They will be float on water surface.
4. After 2 days, remove their bark and clean.
5. Put some weight over the woods and soak in water.
6. After 5-6 days, woods will be ready to use in the aquarium.

Some of my scapes with Lemon tree wood over the years:

Not seen any ill effect on the creatures of tank ever. Never leach.
