If you remove plant mass when you trim you should be able to get away with no water changes.

In a fish only tank I change about 10% water daily as I don't have filtration. Thats my method of removing waste.

i will continue the routine of 30% water change weekly in addition will have to top up the aquariums daily because the water reduces by .5 inch daily now a days due to fans. This method worked for me last year and i hope will work this year also
A collection of mistakes is called experience and experience is the key to success.

Daily water top ups, AC running from 11:00 Am to 6:00 Pm. Running fans on 8 tanks and then doing water top ups on all with RO will be too much time consuming. This way I have to do top up every alternate days for the nano tanks and twice weekly for the larger ones. All tanks usually end with water changes during top ups.
