Keeping Water Lily::Mangkala Ubol>>Flower Page 2>>18/07/2016

Since long, I want to keep lilies. Last year started with one blue lily known as Nymphaea midnight caprice. This I decided to source more lilies.
First step is to choose suitable pot for keeping lillies. After reading, I choose a 12 inch height, plastic pot.

Second step was to decide about substrate. First I thought to keep lillies in aquarium substrate. But finally I choose DIY substrate. This substrate is a mixture of local soil, construction sand and cow dung. All of these has been covered by gravels.

I saw your lily setup. Keeping lilies is a fun. What did you thought about mosquito larv?

I will introduce some fishes like as mollies, guppies in each pot.

I got several lily free of cost from my friends.
Some got in exchange with other plants.
A single pot costs around 800 to 1000 Rs.
