My experience was quite opposite of this. In past 4 years I got 3 AC fans and 2 of them still work like a charm..Romi wrote:sam wrote:
Glad you liked it. I have wasted a lot of money on fixing up these "Indusrial AC Fans", unpredictable, unbranded, heavy...Imagine i bought 5 in the last 3 years, and just one works now.. the price difference is actually negligible between them and Jebo per individual fan all said and done, and JEbo comes with very neat clasps and a premium feel.
One of them fell in the water as I dint fix it properly and thats the one expired.
I run the other two non-stop(powercut is the only break they get) for a stretch of more than two months and the seem to be doing fine.
This is how my fans are mounted on braced tanks.

Re: Help for make or buy FAN
I am using both Indusrial AC Fans as well as the Jebo clip-on fans mentioned by Romi here. Both are working fine with me, the advantage that JEBO provides is that it can be easily attached to an aquarium and looks good as compared with the industrial AC fans.Romi wrote:sam wrote:Jebo fans are doing well, temp. change from 32c to 27c.
Thanx for the suggestion Romi ji

Jebo fans are no different than the AC fans from computer, the only thing is that they mounting clips. They run on the same 12 v adapters
