Diatom filter..... ??

Has any one ever used diatom filter ? And any experience with the same ?? Please guide i am planning for one filter that should be common for all my tanks

Never used personally.... but studding in early days that it helps to get rid of many disease causing agents and clean water at microbial level.

I am planning to use as a common filter for all my tanks....
Where ever i see a problem in a tank i ll use the filter....
Any one have used it personally an seen the results ??

Is it similar to a fluidized sand bed filter? That filters is so efficient, one filter can be used for several interconnected tanks, if needed. Since you have a fishroom now, you might want to check it out too, Jack.
