Expired silicone !!!

Greetings,

My lfs has extra clear silicone which is used to make tanks with extra clear glasses
Now this silicone tube is expired 3 months back and he is telling me that nothing will happen he has used expired silicone many times but dont wanna take chance

So what do you think ? Is it ok to use 3 months old expired silicone ??
Tank size is 24X15X15

Agreed i have told him yesterday only to make from routine silicone and not experiment with expired extra clear

Only two times, my tanks has been leaked. First time, a bare bottom tank leaked and second time leaked recently. All of my ADA amazonia messed up. Most of the plants also melted. Now I advises to every aquarist to fill tank fully before aquascape.
