Cheaper than most led's in the aqua trade but way better than most out there

Well i used 2*10W led's without lens thinking it would be enough for a 30cm cube tank but light intensity was way less to my exprectation when water was filled up..and due to lower light plants are not at all growing well hence the change

In place 2x10 watt LEDs 6x3 watt LEDs work more efficiently. More LEDs spread more light in place of a single LED of same specification. I also used 3x10 watt LEDs in a 45x30x30 tank but never satisfied. From last 3-4 months I am using 10x3 watt LEDs without lens. Result is satisfactory.

I would suggest not to make the mistake I made and spend too much on lights.

Check with India Mart there are 22 W flat panel LED available at 1000 Rs which you can buy say 2 for 2 Ft tank and attach them to your covers with help from a electrician and this way LEd light will only cost you around 3000 rather than wasting 8k to 10k buying from amazon or any other vendors

I'm using DIY High Power Led

- 30x20x25 using 12 watt. 4 x white 6500k + 4 x blue 455nm + 4 x white 3200k

- 60x35x30 using 36 watt. 8 x white 6500k + 14 x blue 455nm + 14 x white 3200k

- 30x30x25 using 12 watt. 6 x white 6500k + 2 x blue 455nm + 2 x white 3200k

- Paludarium 40x30x30 using 16 watt. 10 x white 6500k + 3 x blue 455nm + 2 x white 3200k + 1 x red 660nm

- Shrimp tank 40x30x30 using 16 watt. 6 x white 10000k + 3 x blue 455nm + 7 x red 660nm

- Terrarium Carnivorous Plant 50x25x25 using 15 watt. 7 x white 10000k + 3 x blue 455nm + 3 x red 660nm + 2 x green 520nm

I'm using HPL because

1. Cheap
2. Low wattage
3. Do not need replace every 6 month.
4. We can make many spectrum compotition.
5. Plant growth better

But there is one disadvantage using High Power Led. Red plant become green hahahahhaa

NB : I'm using chinese High power led.
