Co2 Options for 1ft Cube

Unread post by aawnaik »

I have a 1 ft Cubicle Aquarium with Shrimps. What are the cheap Co2 options? As of now I am using CO2 tablets which doesn't seem to be much effective.

What plants you want to grow in this tank?

At ~3.5-4K you can assemble a 2Kg setup, lasts long and no worries of glut melting plants etc.
Its just not a buy, it will be a good investment for long run.

What is the depth of the tank ? If it's not too deep, you dont need CO2 for a 1 feeter. Why complicate the life of the shrimps with a lower pH ?

If the tank is not too deep, plants can and will survive using dissolved CO2, basically the principle behind a low tech tank. I condition all my plants for atleast one month before I put them in my tank in a tub which is about 1 foot deep. The plants are submerged, they are out in the open, not in contact with direct sunlight. They stay very healthy this way.
