Source for Soilrite and DIY Micro

Hello All,

I could not able to source soilrite and DIY Micro anywhere here in Chennai. Also, as I am new to planted tanks, please can you help me with the source for the same? Thank you.

Manikandan you can source soilrite from nursery and macro fertilizer chemical from shops who sell lab chemicals.

Hi Rajiv ji.. Thank you.. I have tried some nurseries (some big nurseries too) but nobody knows about it.. they know about perlite and vermiculite but not soilrite.. I think it is not that much familiar here in Chennai.. Can any of you help me out to source.. I could not able to get it online too.. wherein a website is selling it for 350/kg..

Good quality soilrite price is around 90 for 2 kg.

I'm not getting it here in Chennai.. Can you help me out with the same or a good substitue for it.. I have red soil, cocopeat ready for substrate mix and got river gravel as top layer.. need soilrite to mix to form a good substrate..

why font you go for branded one like ada or platinum.

if you still want to go for some substiture, go for vermicompost or humus. Both very good.

I'm planning to invest that money into a CO2 kit.. where I can make some good substrate by myself without spending much on that..
