7 foot south American Biotope redone
hi all
There sometimes comes a point in time where you setup a tank thats epic, and takes you to the next level in aquascaping. For me this was the tank.Gigiantic, massive, lots of hurdles, but the end result seems to be worth the effort. The tank thats 7 feet in length,(210cms) had to be built on site. The stand is made of industrial grade steel and needs at least half a dozen people to move.A team of interiors and carpenters had to work around and build the frame without the tank being in place. The tank had to be slid in from behind as the front frame was fixed.A friend, who is a lighting expert had to be called in to provide the led effects for the tank.4 Eheim 2217's are used to filter it.3 Jager 200 w heat it..yes the numbers are crazy!Decor consists of white sand, river pebbles and cobbles of different grades and wood of different thickness.
The fish stock includes Scalare Angels,Satanoperca Daemons,Geophagus Altifrons, and Uaru amphiacanthoides (we probably one of the few people in India holding this fish at the moment)
Let me know what you all think of this tank. Its truely one of our special ones.

Not sure about the rocks in the biotope. Normally, these are slow moving water carrying a lot of silt, so (1) you may not find too many rocks and (b) nice smooth round pebbles (1) in slow moving/stagnant pools.

A stunner tank.
I am also agree with Bappa Da. Replace the sharp edge rocks.
