What is the maximum size of this fish? Is a 120 X 45 X 45cm tank is sufficient for two of these? They are impressive and I want to keep atleast two in a bare bottom tank.

They reach 7-8 inch max. Need densely planted tanks. Not bare bottom. Good filteration, low flow and dim lighting.

As of now eating everything from pellets to dried shrimps to even flakes

Abhishek - sorry for diverting from the topic. But what did you do in particular to get such a huge number of snails? I think I may need to borrow some from you. I have always wanted to keep a puffer, but hear that they need snails to keep healthy-specially their tooth. Looking at your tank, I think it may be a good idea to have a snail tank running. What did you do in particular?

Also, don't the channas eat them?
