these fish have always been fascinating and alluring
but finding them here is way too difficult. a few years ago i did get them, but my busy travel schedule and my inherent laziness i did not observe their behavior in the tank, that is i didn't notice that they weren't eating anything, and by the time i noticed that and started taking measures out of the 6 i had got 5 had given up hope and slowly started to succumb to starvation.
the last one that remained did grow to a great size of 5", alas it caught ich while i was away and when i came back it was so very badly affected by ich that i couldn't save it.
and this time when i got the opportunity again, i went ahead and picked 8 of these beauties, i have already got 1 of the on pellets and 3 of them on dry shrimp, and some of them are still on live fish as food, but i intend to save all 8 and will very slowly get them on to dry foods.
enough of chatter and lets get to the fun part, pics!!!
