Hi Guys,

I am keeping discus for some time now. I have them in a bare bottom tank which measures 3' x 15" (W) x 18" (H). Want to upgrade to a bigger and taller tank in the coming days. Here are some pics:

Platinum white: 4"



Golden San Merah: 4.5"



LSS Rafflesia: 4.5" +



The older, blue diamonds. They look stunted (not sure since they're 2.5") and have deformed eyes. No to give them away and hope they'll recover.



I have another spare tank of the same dimension. I intend to get Blue Turquoise and LSS for that. Will keep posting.

Yeah me neither. But I have come to realise that it is the best way to keep fish like Discus. I am buying more of them next month.

Karthik with good water change and filtration you can go with thin layer of sand. No need to always go with bare bottom tank if the discus are 3.5 inch plus .....
