just want to share a picture of a pregnant pygmy seahorse...btw., its a male...13 mm in size.
does anyone know, whether there are other animals, where the male carries out the babies as well?

Romi is right it is the White Cloud Mountain minnow (Tanichthys albonubes) and Romi some wild populations have been found though not in the original habitat.

all the Pipe fish I have not heard of this in any other animals but there are birds where the male does the incubation, rearing and care of the chicks without the female.
