My Low Maintenance Planted Tank
Hi, Guys
I'm quite busy from past few months & didn't get much time to all regular maintenance work, but i think the tank is doing ok except some hair algae & brown algae on rocks which I've kept in control.
This is a 100 liter tank & I'm only doing once a week micro & macro with 1ml Glut. Partial water change every around 3-4 week.
Yesterday, I did some trimming & click couple of photograph. Let me know what do you think.

Re: My Low Maintenance Planted Tank
Really a treat to the eye.
Such a well maintained tank is not quite often seen.
Just one suggestion. What is that big plant in the Right hand side? It is disturbing the overall balance of the scape.
Give the details of Flora and Fauna.

Excellent tank.
But tell me - 1ml of Glut in a 100 litre tank ???? What exactly will such a tiny quantity of Glut do ?

It is a beautiful tank, considering that you are just giving it an ml of glute, it becomes even more remarkable

Re: My Low Maintenance Planted Tank
Thankyou all for such nice comments.
I can only say that it is a luck by chance, may be experts can put some light on it, because when i was really trying hard it throws me all sorts of trouble but once I stop doing the regular dosing & weekly maintenance it starts doing well & I'm happy to do whatever minimum effort it required every 3rd or 4th week.
Till now what I understood is that less dosing means less of maintenance work.
Keep few plants which can work as an indicator for deficiency/imbalance & have patience.
My once a week dosing schedule
Micro Dosing
1. 2ml Seachem Flourish Comprehensive
2. 2ml Seachem Flourish Iron
Macro Dosing (Prepared mix based on EI) but I'm under dosing
1. 5ml k2so4
2. 5ml mgso4
3. 5 ml kno3
4. 1 ml glut (I don't know if 1ml of glut is doing anything or may I can skip that too , but I think that it is helping in algae control?)
Photo Period
1. 9 am to 1 pm
2. 6 pm to 11pm
Water Change (RO)
40% every 3rd of 4th week
Details about Flora
1. Rotala rotundifolia (Pink)
2. Hemianthus micranthemoides
3. Ludwigia Repens (Using as indicator)
4. Hygrophila Corymbosa (I know it is not going well with the rest of the layout but this survived many times & I use it as an indicator for imbalance or deficiency)
5. Sagittaria Subulata
Details about Fauna
1. Siamese algae eater (4)
2. Neon Tetra (12)
3. Rummy Nose (10)
4. Assasin Snail (2) they have now multiplied, having two small kids
5. Few MTS & other snails

A very beautiful aquascape. A very clever use of HM.
