Unread post by asheesh »

hi

I have been facing this issue where a lot of lipid starts getting accumulating on the top layer and in a few days blocks the light.

any way to get rid of this?

I know about surface skimmer

How do you deal with this issue in your planted tanks?

1. Take a newspaper.
2. Lay it over water.
3. Remove it just after a 1 minute.
4. Oil layer will be come with newspaper.

I found these to be a lot of work, so I moved to surface skimmers.
