let me start the critique of photographs, by putting one of my old pics up for critique

tried to keep rule of 1/3rd, but if i had tried to keep the eye of the fish according to rule of 1/3rd there would have been a better crop i guessAbhishek wrote:Rule of 1/3rd ??

when a frame view of a subject is divided into 3 equal parts horizontally and vertically we get four points of focus and this positioning of the points of focus is the rule of thirds
as depicted int he below pictiure
this rule is also used to select the point of focus in aquascaping or any other type of scaping as this rule is present in nature everywhere, and makes everything look quite appealing
