Hazy photographs in Canon canon D550.

Unread post by SCORPIO »

I am using Canon D550 with Tamron AF 18 - 200 mm lens from last 3 years. From last 2-3 months it is not taking good photographs in Auto Focus mode. I have also given the lens for repair but result is still not very good. So I am planning to buy new camera or lens. One of my friend suggested to buy only a new lens. The camera have all the functions of modern cameras. What should I do, brought new camera with new lens or buy only lens?

Please suggest.

I agree with both of them above. Try a friends lens for few days then decide.
AF wont work great in low light places like our aquarium. I totally depend on manual focus for my fish pics with 18-55mm.

so how does lens AF perform in outdoors?

Not getting good result in outdoor. Some pictures are good but some are not so clear. Although the Manual focus is working well.
