Problem occured after few days of function, where incase of filter being switched off water pressure tends some water drop leakage from the lid, making mess around. May be use of container Sushant suggested will eliminate chance of such problem.

Some time back i have tried making a canister filter but the air tight container that sushant bhaia is mentioning is not easily available in bigger size if anybody finds that in bigger size inform me also

really good idea, simple, but effective.
and you can upscale it to huge sizes as well, where commercial canisters are unaffordable
