thats great DIY... something just sparked out....
how about making a thermocole backgroung and taking it to a pottery man and getting the masking on it....
1) looks more natural
2) is porus
3) move water volume..
4) can create caves for chichlids and plecos
5) has rough surface soo plants can also creep on it
6) natural element and helps keeping water cool not much but helps in keeping
Finally i am Broke but Happy :D

I think Adesh had made DIY Rock textured background for one of his tank and also posted a journal here.

this can be a good DIY but frankly speaking a more natural look would have been better

my friend wanted it verry urgently for his shop so i made it as simple as possible . the both tuck me 1 hr to complete which means half hr each .cant get more than this in 1 hr time

u know my this year IAPLC hard scape tuck me 80 days to complete just hard scape

last year one tuck me 40 days half way stopped .

the more time you can spend on any thing you wanted do it will comes more nice .beside these are for commercial use that's why i don't do more than this .
