How to DIY a Tank?! (^_^)

I am on vacation...taking time off from the rat race. There are a few aquarium projects I have in mind and this will be the best time to get jiggy with it.
I've been looking forward to buy a new tank and then the idea struck me (like outta the blue) that I should make one instead of running to the LFS this time.
Any tips would be more than welcome as always and yeah what is the price of glass (5mm I guess) and from where can I buy that 'glue gun' thingy?

Price of 5 mm glass is around Rs. 50.00 You can brought Silicone gun from Laxmi Nagar or any other shop in your locality.

How much silicone will I need if I want to make a 2-feet tank? Also what is the price of silicone?

One silicone will be enough and It will cost you approx Rs185.00 - 200.00
