My another dream project. A paludarium
dimensions; 36(L)X24X(D)X30(H). The height is on all three sides, the front glass is 12 inches.

Background;
First came the styrofoam background, with random patterns. A styrofoam divider to separate 'land' and 'water' area

then layers of concrete and driftwoods stuck on them

then spraying cocopeat on the background to give a' natural' look

Just trying the mist:

.....the front glass had cement splatters on them. Hoping the stuff to be ready soon....

that's a cool transformation of styroform barebone to the actual background. would have appreciated the step by step method for making the same in DIY section.
Got too busy to document. Sorry about that.

spraying the cocopeat with the cement was a good move....

I would have tried sticking lots of moss (a friend is growing moss by the kilo) but I guess that would have been difficult at best and very time consuming at worse...

Some more plants added.....still a long way to go...
Setup details (contd from above)
1. Added sprinkler; It is running on timer....for 10 minutes every 3 hours. Gradually plan to reduce it to 10 minutes every 6 hours
2. Humidifier/mist maker; Creating mist for 15 minutes every 3 hours. gradually plan to educe it to 30 minutes every 6 hours

The paludarium will be dominated by aquatic plants that is why high density of humidity and artificial rain
