Many brands of turtle foods are available on LFS. Avoid cheap ones.

Ya there are turtle foods of toya and hikari on most LFS. Don't know how good they are.
You could also use some life foods for them.
But remember not to overfeed....

Turtles require sunlight for calcium formation else they tend to develop soft shell resulting in extremely low level of activity and eventually die. This may be one of the reason your turtle is not eating.

Also, turtles can go on a week to 10 day diet period during which they don't eat anything. So it's normal. But if it is extended longer, there might be a problem. Just ensure he has a good basking area and some access to unfiltered diffused sunlight for an hour everyday!

Hi,
I have kept a Red Eared Slider before (res ear slider?). They make very interesting pets. Where did you get yours?
Turtles have very peculiar feeding habits, your turtle won't just eat the pellet food that you toss into the tank, its not a fish.
If it is a new turtle ,it will take it some time to get used to its surroundings. It may refuse to eat.

I used to feed my turtle raw veggies and freshwater prawn (jheenga). Prawn is available on all fish-meat shops, it will
also provide your turtle with much needed calcium. It will eat all sorts of veggies too. Greens, reds, purples you name it.
Occasionally you can also feed him live insects. Need not be aquatic ones, whatever you can catch. They also like worms :D.
You can also feed him bread, its soft and is easily gulped down. But take care not to overfeed him.

Oh! and don't feed him anything cooked as it might upset its little stomach!

Provide it with hiding and basking places and things should run smooth.
