Hey all,

I have Fish only marine tank just 2 months old. I am always worried for the white spot infection on my fishes mostly. I maintain the gravity between 1.022 to 1.023 mostly. Didn't have test kit yet. Skimmer and external filter is working fine.

Now facing problem with blue ring angel fish, not eating food properly. Tried various feed of Ocean nutrition (flakes and pelleted) and Hikari Marine S also.

Need your advice and suggestions on it.

Regards

Gaurav Ji, you have a very nice looking tank. The start fish is original?

Its salinity, not pH. Try feeding it shrimp from the fish market.
Tank dimensions? Looks overstocked, especially with the giant trevally

You are asking about feeding your fish after buying them..!!????!!!
I think, you should always do some research and get things beforehand, which are all necessary for a Marine tank. 'Coz, marine tanks, fish, anemones, starfish etc., are very expensive. And, you will feel really heart-broken, if anything goes wrong in the tank &' before you could find and a solution..

Hi Keluthi,

Thanx for the suggestions but I have read many articles before getting them but may be due to stress only my angel fish is not eating properly, rest I am giving best quality feed to my fishes which they loves a lot.

One thing I would like to share is that Fish only marine Tank is not at all costly. According to the size and all parameters it will cost you as Discus Fish Tank or a Planted Tank because I have all these three tanks and they cost me nearly same in prices.

Another fact is that Marine tank(fish only) needs very much less care and time as compare to planted and discus tank as per my experience of keeping all those.

Marine Tank just need an good start then it runs fine... ;-)

I completely agree :)
Try feeding it prawns/fish/live brine shrimp
