Divider for killies

Unread post by Sripad »

I have a breeding pair of Aphyosemion australe in a 14*12*15 tank, around 2/3rd full. Is there any way I can seperate the male and female in the same tank for conditioning? Maybe using some sort of netted divider.. any ideas?

you can use plastic mosquito nets as divider in the tank.

Small dividers made of plastic bars and nylon netting are sold in aquarium shops for around a hundred bucks. You assemble them to make small sub-tanks that stick to aquarium glass. It will be good if you cover them because the separated fish will try to jump out and back into main tank. .... But it is better than glass partition any day.
