Hey Partha, they're closely related but I don't think this is that because this is from a different location.parthapratim22 wrote:I have seen wayanad Fern. Can you relate last pic with that, @Nav?
Wayanad fern is endemic only to wayanad. Pretty hard to get. Maybe one day I'll go on an expedition and find it.
Also I'd like others to Also post snaps of Indian aquatic plants. As of now I don't have too much but I'm sharing info of what I know

Re: Indian aquatic plants!
They have discovered a new dwarf puffer fish in Maharashtra! And it seems to a lovely shade of yellow. My point is that India is an extraordinary place, its natural wealth is tremendous and legendary.
But as Parthapratim said, it is important to save the rare stuff from greedy people who only care to make money and have no genuine love or respect for a nation's property. ....
I hope this thread will pave the way for introducing yet another Indian gem to the hobby, perhaps even more unique than Hygrophila pinnatifida

My next plant was as you said
The amazing Hygrophila pinnatifida. One of the many amazing stem plants in India.
Photo clicked at SWA.
Reminding again, I want others as well to share your info/images of native plants
