Hello
I got this stem plant from a friend, he has not idea about this plant and was wondering if any of you guys could ID this plant for me.
The leaves are light green in colour with the edges being ridged and the plant grows pretty fast, If i cut of a stem in half, this part grows 2 new stems.

Re: Help with Plant ID
Definitely a Hygrophila, i think.
If it has an aroma when taken out, it could be a mint too (Genus Mentha)

The wide leaves are putting me off from water wisteria.. I could be wrong though.Looks like water wisteria in low light, i m not sure though...
It has no Aroma, so I do not think it to be a Mint plant.Definitely a Hygrophila, i think.

I am confused as the plant has wide & broad leaves... could you be a little more specific on the Name if possible...
Thanks a lot...

Re: Help with Plant ID
Increase the light and check, if its hygrophila, the leaves will split.
I also had the same experience with hygrophila in low light.

Re: Help with Plant ID
After having it in my tank for 2 weeks, I can confirm it is indeed Hygrophila Difformis... new leaves that seem to come now are split, as Geeth had said.
Thank you guys...
