IMO star moss doesn't grow so bushy. This moss is growing in my nano tank.(small ball like thing on the left)

Guys star moss is usually tortula ruralis or hyophila involuta which is commonly found around our country.

Also India has 86 species of fissidens as per a study in 2010. Many which are purely terrestrial and remaining which can grow in submerged conditions. What Karthik is showing is a species of fissidens.
