a lovely specimen. synodontus are fun to look at. they are super active at night and low light level.

synodontis are very interesting fish, but hybrids lower interest in individual species which need conservation. my first synodontis was also a hybrid, part synodontis eupterus. have an full-blood eupterus, and i realise you dont need rich patterns in synodontis, their shapes make up for it!
