Update
-Found some more native threads in 'Monster Fish' and 'Fish Photography' section. Added.

Some fish I knew by name and yet some were new to me. Some quick google searches helped me identify em.
Also while going through the forums I came to the realization that Jibran Sharif and Abhi are 2 people with the most amazing fish collections. :thumup
Perhaps there are others but simply don't bother posting :p

and thanks for the encouragement everyone.

Thanks but Nopes. It is a native fish thread not native fish keeper thread. This is not gonna happen and anyways once a thread is opened all info will be there :)

In the Next update I will add native inverts. I will need some help there (limited invert knowledge) but I think most threads are pretty self explanatory.

This is a wonderful effort Naufil. the only reason I could not comment earlier was because I don't get the time to come online here that much :(

This is the kind of thing that will save time for so many people interested in native fish, and in a way will help generate more interest. I think this is an example of how simply re-organizing and applying common sense can add value to something that already exists. coolbig

It is also a testimony to your love for the fish of our land. :)

Can you also do some tagging please?
Suppose like "barb,"rosey barb, "goby", "two spot barb" etc like common names, helps in searching. Mandatorily add scientific name.

Yes, we will announce soon. What role you want to play this time.

An amazing effort mate... this will serve as a handly guide to all the forum members looking forward to keep Indian natives.

Just one thing I want to point out after browsing the fish list on the 1st page - Dario hysginon is endemic to Myanmar and is not found in India.
