i had a few of the scarlet ones and i managed to keep them alive for over a year on micro-pellets. also had a pair in my shrimp tank to take care of the small worms and they are quite effective but there prededetor instint never stopped them just on worms but even to shrimplets. but overall ther are nice fish to keep loved them for there coloration and size.

all badis and dario dario are micropredators, so before u take any home, keep a large tub of plastic outside, fill it with water, and harvest mosquito larvae. u can also keep grindals, microfex, compost worms, fruit flies etc. these fish are hard to keep healthy because they need a large VARIETY of live food also.
