Thanks Sushant..

Here is one of the most important thing I forgot to explain - acclimatizing your tiny creatures. And for them I follow the below method.

Drip Acclimatization Method -

Below is the rough diagram how it is done, I follow this one and can vouch for this one.

Image
Here are the things you need to do -
1. Get a aquarium air pipe.
2. Stop valve.
3. A little stone for weight.

Put one end of the air pipe with the weight on the main tank and the other end should go to the container where the shrimps are and attach the valve on the container end.
Now siphon water from the main tank and regulate the water from the valve that only 1-2 drops/second. Now keep this thing on for more some time until the container contains half of its 1st water and half of the tank water. After this took out your shrimps and drop them in the main tank.

The best thing about this process is that it helps the shrimps to acclimatize properly, help them to overcome the water parameter changes.

I use glucose pipe to acclimatize fishes/shrimps. This is the cheap and best method.

It is actually advisible to use a HOB or a canister filter in a shrimps tank, but ensure that the inlet is covered by a thin net or even better would be a sponge so that the tiny shrimplets are not sucked in.

Its not like that, those you mentioned are indian natives along with than we have following natives too-
Cardina Hodgarti - The most famed and beautiful dwarf shrimp you can ever see.
Cardina Babaulti
Cardina Zebra
Cardina Tiwarii
Caridina gracilirostris
Caridina 'White Backed'
Chameleon Shrimp etc.

And also we have the famed macrobachium genus - sorry I am not so much interested in them so cant provide much information.

And for imported shrimps there are many species.
