Culture of Blood Worms
Greetings,
hello every one ? hope doing great
I am planning to start a culture of blood worm for my Wild Caught Rams,(i have never tried feeding live food to fish in 10 years of hobby) I have introduced them into the aquarium and been three days but they are not taking any feed. so thought might give a try to blood worms. Blood worms are very rarely available into the LFS over here, so i can really depend on them. I surfed the new for the info, but very confusion. So you experts are the best. Please let me know the step by step process to start blood worm culture. I will be able to get a small quantity of bloodworms today and will try to feed them.

Re: Culture of Blood Worms
Hello jack if you are referring to blood worms you cannot culture them cause they are the larva of a midge,a species of chironomus.
I will refer you to culture grindal worms they are easy to culture and ideal size to be feed to rams.

Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.
