had tried it long back when i had snails, but none was attracted to it...

Follow these points before offer to your aquatic pets.:
1. Take some boiled water.
2. Put the slice of cucumber in boiled water for 2-3 minutes.
3. Take off the slice from the boiled water and offer to shrimps/fishes.
Now they will sure eat the cucumber slice.

i like to feed it, too. but my water always gets milky/cloudy.

I put cucumber directly however the best food the oto's relish is the boiled spinach leaves .. it vanishes in no time ...
