Common feed

I would like to discuss the common feed we are giving to our Fish....... Tetrabits is the most common one..... Members are invited to discuss, different feeds they are giving to their fish......

Like I have heard that Hikari food is good for Cichlids...... Is that so ?

Hi Himanshu,

Apart from Tetrabits i feed my fish a food called Plecocaine. i get it 20 USD for 1kilo and lasts well over a year. for my smaller fish like the tetras i keep, i feed them Oceanfree micro pellets.

NLS and Hikari are good feeds as well but NLS is expensive. IMO, Tetrabit is just right for a wide spectrum of fish.

but the main part of their diet is Hikari

some time shrimps
small fishs...
white worms also (once in a week)...

NLS Thera A
Hikari varied pellets
Probetta Pellets
Grand Sumo red/green
Cylopeeze pellets
Tetra Shrimp Pellets
Dried Shrimps
Frozen prawns
Nori sheets
Ocean Nutrition pellets
Sera marine flakes
XO pellets

I am also using Aquael's ArteMin, DiscusVit, Taiyo Tubifex Worms along with Tetra bits and Hikari bio gold.

Tetra Bits goes with saying that is universally used Peas is used ocasionally with the FH
