How long can ADA amazonia soil be used?

How long can ADA amazonia soil be used? I am using it for 1.5 year but I have no problem at all. Should I change it after 2 years or more?

I have read somewhere that it is beneficial more than 2 years. Although I am using some old ADA substrate and it is still boosting the plant growth.

My tank with ADA Amazonia II is 30 months old! No problems so far

It requires additive or supplements after some time.

If one can use soft water and proper fertilizer then soil can last for real long time!! Injection with fertilizer in substrate also increase its life...

I have injected nothing.....in fact, desperately trying to get the 'aquascape' fail by neglecting....no CO2 over a month, no dosing, only water changes, and yet, after 30 months....the rotalas and others still flourish!

Well Bappa Da, but generally they supplement it after 2 years
I guess you have maintained it properly.. And what about my Mosura

i guess the expected life is 3 years. after this supplements and root tabs can be used to prolong its life

A bit of root tab an' fert dosing that we do keeps the soil alive for ages! guys understand we are talking about a captive system here the super charged soil will loose nutrients in time but our fert dosing keeps them alive!! to be honest even inert gravel become charged in time with fert dosing regime. Now I don't know how many out here follow Tom Barr's posting's online, but he posted a pix few days back where he shows ADA substrate that he has been using for 7 years and the growth is awesome, best part the soil granules did not become muck in 7 years..so chillax guys be bindaas an' let the plants grow..
