red spot on the lower portion of the stomach

my carp had a red spot on the lower portion of its stomach, i noticed it while buying but the shopkeeper said that its a small injury and will heal with time.

It has been about 7 days since then and the red portion has become more prominent although it has not increased in size. Also one of the fin looks as if being cut and slightly reddish .....

wht is the problem and whts the remedy? all other fishes are okay....

having learned tht carps are meant for ponds, i will give away my carps to my friend who has a huge tank...

sometimes my fishes dart to the surface ...is it normal behavior.

to my dogs, pigeons and parrots , we quiet often gave multivitamins and dewormed them periodically.....is it the same for fishes as well? if yes...kindly suggest the medicines...

Red streaks in fins are signs of bad water conditions, you are not reading up before buying fish and overcrowding them. If u stop overstocking them, do water changes every second day, use two filters, one air powered sponge filter, you can improve its health for now. For each inch of goldfish, give one gallon of water. At least.

For a more definitive input, give the volume of your tank, and the fish count in the tank.
