Please answer following:

1. Does your fishes die after water change? If yes after how many hours they die and show the symptoms of dullness?
2. What your fish shows after feeding blood worms? They may have harmful bacteria.
3. Your Water changing schedule (40% per week) may the culprit. There should be atleast two water changes in a week for those fishes.

you do not know the parameters of your tap water...maybe the pH is completely off, maybe your kH too high...a fish will suffer for some time and then die eventually.
maybe your tap water has high NO2 already...maybe super high NO3, PO4

you wrote in another thread, that you found it hard to maintain plants...that also indicates, that there might be something wrong with your water.
again...without the parameters its just guessing

Vikas i think water might be culprit here, Vishal had checked ph of water and few other parameters and ph of water was very high way above normal. I think getting the water quality checked might solve your problem.

one very general rule says 1 liter of water for each 1cm of fish...
e.g. you have 20 cardinals, 5cm each = 20 x 5= 100...so you need 100 l for them

but this applies only for small / mid size fish...this doesn't work for huge fish like flowerhorn or arowana...they need much more
Vikas, for each one inch of fish length, give 10 square inches of space.

and as juanico says, for larger fish, the need for space/surface area is proportionately more!

This is a basic rule for fishkeeping since the 1920s!

and Vikas only change approx 10% water every 2-3 days we only do 40-50% water changes in special cases.

I would be coming to rohtak for Rakhi, lets see if you are available and I can see your tank. we may be able to come up with a solution.
