Any dead fish can flow down the river but it takes a live one to swim back up stream.

very beautiful and healthy fish, Somen :) You have chosen some great species there.

Is your Zebra Danio a wildcaught specimen?

Ya I got it from my native place pond during my kolkatta visit this summer.

No wonder, wildcaught Zebra Danios are usually more streamlined, and the gold coloration (alternate stripes) is far more intense. Get more.

ya I have got may be 5 now,Catch around 25/-.Mostly left there.
Is is carrying eggs? Looks like so!

I have kept wild caught zebra danio upto years. They are very easy to keep and also accepts every type of food. Several times they also breeded in my tank.

ya they are tough fishes.very fast, and hard to take a snap.
