Unread post by rajiv.mcks »

Dear Friends, I've set up a new nano scape today with a driftwood and few hardy plants.
Tank dimensions : 15l x12wx15h
Lighting : Azoo Flexi Mini
Filter: HOB Oister
Co2 : Plan to use API Liquid Co2 after cycling is over.
Flora :
Hygrophilla Sp. Quadrivalvis
Hygrophilla Polysperma
Lindernia rotundifolia - Green
Java moss (on driftwood & lava rock)
Java Fern
Anubas nana
Crypts
Micranthemum "Monte Carlo"
Najas Indica
Sagittaria Sp. (Dwarf)
Dwarf Jap Grass

Fauna : undecided, however thinking of using this setup for breeding Clown Killifish (advise and tips welcome :)

What is that Ash Tray type thing in front? is it reflection on u r using it to pour water? Moreover I think u need a little more light in it, instead of Liquid CO2 u can use DIY. If maintained carefully it will turn out to be a good tank. Happy planting.

Nice.

I thought it is shrimp feeding tray.

Thanks vikram .. the light is full spectrum in the ratio of 1.25w per gallon
Not comfortable with Pressurised co2, as I travel a bit for work and can't expect the caretaker to operate a co2 system .. so want to keep it low tech :)

Very nicely done. With timely water changes, trimming etc, it should be a stunner soon!

Cheers,

Karthik
