question is why would you increase your bioload when you dont need to.

Adding more fish to the tank wont solve your problem
Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.

Well More Fish = More Bioload. They complement each other.
Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.

I thought algae and bio load are proportional :?: Are they??

Try Rosie Barbe & Black Molly.. I have same problem with green Hair Algae. It works... Can also use Seachem Flourish Excell.. Make 50% Water Change Twice a Week.

Currently dosing Seachem Excel.
When I see the tank, I get the feeling that it has reduced slightly.. But want to erase it completely..

i was also facing the same problem and kept mollies and didn't feed them for a week and in this time all the algae was cleaned by them.
