Don't want to add more woods since the average size of the fishes in this tank will be around 8-10 inches.

Superb .... Some elusive central american species mainly Tbar and Honduras blue eyes are really fascinating.... But some rainbows are swimming ? why?

No plans to add IAL. Don't want a black water effect in this tank.

looks great!
couple of suggestions
add more rocks.CA habitats are very rocky with wood being used as litter
loose the annubias
great tank otherwise
