Great find. I thought it is suitable for paludarium.

No sir. Can't be used in tanks or paludariums. Needs ponds. Grows 2+' broad and 12" height.SCORPIO wrote:Great find. I thought it is suitable for paludarium.

Re: Indian aquatic plants!
This is something so many people can do. Go out in the wild, and try and figure out the plants that are common there, and could or are already in aquariums. But few have the perseverance, knowledge or stamina to actually do it, even with your country's great natural wealth to tempt us.... Your thread is outstanding, Navneeth
I have seen Otelia on sale and always wanted it. To see that photo is both astonishing and tempting... what a lovely but underestimated plant it is. The same kind of beauty as the Amazon Sword Plant group, in my opinion.

One more pic just for you sushant! Here's a smaller one with red tone.sushant wrote:this is beautiful can we have some more pics plz.
As you can see the smaller the size the more simple the leaf formation is. The larger it gets the leaves shape out and also flower.
Thanks romi. Just trying to encourage people to use Indian plants. Especially those that you can find yourself and creatively use in scaping.Romi wrote:This is something so many people can do. This plant has been banned in several states in the US as its classified as a weed.
