Need recommendations for the light and filter. Don't want to spend too much.

These molded tanks are not ideal for taking pic. My recommendation would be to keep the curved glass at the back (this is what I do with both my molded tanks)

For lighting go with LED. 5W Led will work for your setup
And filter a sponge filter with 10% weekly water change will do.

@sushant
Not really worried about the photography part. Having used a bigger curved glass tank, I am fairly comfortable with it. Also I've already put in some Amazonia and driftwood so making changes would be little tough. For the nonce, I'll go with the way it is.

Few Updates:

I ordered a small hob filter (tianrun). Also ordered few Indian almond leaves.

Still looking for light options. Can you guys recommend some online links? Can't purchase offline since I don't see options here in Gurgaon.

Ordered almond leaves? like you paid for them? I think you are the first guy I have seen ordering it in India : )

anyway, for the lights you could try this one or similar, this has dimmer too, you ll need couple of them

If you have it against wall, something like this

or a few of this one
http://www.lightopiaonline.com/bernie-t ... -lamp.html

You can probably find them with indian e-tailers

No need to order Almond leaves. You can use guava or jack fruit leaves. If you need Jack Fruit leaves, let me know. I will collect from my school compound and give you.

I was going throw few videos and I found the leaves useful. Paid 150 bucks for 12 leaves [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] Didn't know that I could use guava leaves as well.

About the light, I needed something that could be latched on to the edge of the tank. Ordered one from eBay. Some 48 led, white blue combo light. Will have to wait for two weeks, before I can see it.
