I definitely do not want to "intentionally" grow algae. It's just happens to grow all by itself and looks wee bit natural on the rocks. I'm controlling by pulling out the (hair) algae regularly and no other special steps. Also, the algae on the back glass is supporting peacock moss growth. Here's a pic.

No update Vikram ji. The fries have grown quite a bit. Adding a bristle nose pleco, has helped me to uproot hair algae.
