Right placement of inlet & outlet of canister filter

Unread post by raphael2k2000 »

Friends, please help me deciding the right place to place inlet & outlet of canister filter in the tank. This to get maximum benefit of puling bad water from tank. Please also advice, if I use rain bar/spay bar to outlet pipe ? my aquarium is 2 ft.

Really nice question

Even i was thinking for the same as setting new tank

Through what i have read i would suggest to keep them diagnolly to pull out dirt, but not really sure about the right placement let the experts come and guide .....

i guess it depends on the scape as well, the overall idea is to reduce dead spots and maximize flow.
