sufficient lighting?

Hi Aditya,
I think your lights are very high, get it closer to water it ll improve.
Also you have very very less plants in it, so you ll have to add more.

Experts can advice more, as it nearly a 2.5ft tall tank and MH are so high from substrate.

300 watts and metal halide too, that is a lot of light if it was not so far up. These are the winters, u don't have to worry about overheating as much as in peak summers anyway.

thanks for the suggestions guys..I've told my friend to lower his lights a bit. Also he's changede lights to 6500k. And he's already got a chiller so don't think he'll face much problem with heating.
