There ARE branded LED sellers. good branded ready to use LED lights start around 90 bucks a watt as far as i know. Nobleelecticals.com is one example, i visited their kiost in the LED Expo. Check the LED Expo thread in aquapetz, u will find more manufacturers. T5 and T8 tubes in LEDs are available, and used by Amol Chaudhuri. Type his name in the search bar.

You should contact pramod ji(pramod yadav). One of his friend is into commercial production of LED fixtures.

ready made LEDs are many hit google with LED lights for aquarium and you will get many. if you are good at making DIY then i think rapidshareled.com and rapidled.com has great kits.
i am not a great DIY nor do have time there are many hobbyist they help in making you the units. one of my unit is in making with CREE LEDs and i have ordered Kessils LED.
Finally i am Broke but Happy :D
